Acknowledgement
Everyday, we as nurses come to work, we make every effort to make the patient as comfortable as possible with very limited resources, we try to ensure that families are well informed about the patient's condition, and we try to bridge the gap between patient needs and doctor's decisions. More often than not, a great deal of what we do in a given shift goes unnoticed or unrecognized. Most of the time, we don't mind because we take pride in our profession and we know what nursing means to patients who need our help. Once in a while, when we do receive acknowledgment (lke a thank you note), we should cherish it and use it to motivate ourselves to continue doing what we do best. Keep up the good work nurses! Never lose sight of why our profession exists today!
