Act of Caring

I think most nurses out there would agree that caring is an integral part of nursing. So then what does the act of caring really mean? To me, caring for those we work with day in and day out helps us care for our patients. In other words, maybe if we made an effort to respect and appreciate those we work with, we will be more motivated to care for patients in a meaningful way. Just something to think about to help put a positive spin on the nursing work environment. It is not always easy to appreciate differences but it certainly helps one to continue the learning process!
